Charter for "Basic HTML for Beginners"
I will strive to maintain a friendly, supportive, and safe interactive
environment for members to learn how to use HTML in Listing or Me pages. You won't find outside links for help with HTML, or links to Me pages on eBay, so please, DO NOT add any Links. This is a Private Mentoring Group. "While a member of a mentoring group, Mentors and members of their mentoring group agree not to bid on items listed by members of the same group." (eBay's rule for the "Mentoring" groups.) We won't have any "Share your Wares" threads, which also means, No Sales Pitches, Advertisements, OR, Links to pages on, or off, eBay for the purpose of sales. (We do, and will, however, view member's auction or listing pages when help or advice is asked for by that group member.) Harvesting group member's names for the purpose of email spamming is wrong. I will do all I can to see that each member's right to privacy is maintained. Members caught doing that will be Banned from the group, AND, reported to eBay. Using my, or, another members work, posting it somewhere else, and taking the credit for that work is very Unethical. Members caught doing that will be Banned from the group. This is a learning group, and I believe that 30 days is plenty of time to begin working on the assignments. If I wouldn't hear from you during that time, your name will be removed from the group in order to allow more new members the opportunity to join and learn. Members that do not Check In for 30 days, will be removed, in order to make room for new members to join. Things come up, lives change, that's understandable, so, those members will also have the option to join the group again in the future when they'd have more time to actively participate. We just don't have the time to "fix" Templates, so please, don't bring those in with you. Follow the lesson plan, and learn how to make your own unique pages. Member to member "Bashing" will NOT be allowed, (in the least little bit). No one is to EVER make a fellow member feel uncomfortable by using negative or harsh, criticism or words. This also includes member to Moderator bashing, (in the least little bit). Members who display that type of behavior WILL be removed at My, and/or, any Moderators, discretion. (I have hand-picked the friendliest, dedicated, and helpful Moderation Team, and I will NOT tolerate the sassing of my Moderators. Period.) Return to group |
