Very nice phots, interesting and would like to see more info regarding the coins.
Same token, flip side. This series of British tokens was issued by merchants, tradesmen, vendors, almshouses, municipalities, and local banks during the period 1811-1820, when the Crown was unable to keep up with the demand for small change because of its various adventures abroad and the general dissolution of the throne at the end of the 60-years reign of George III.
