I don't know the first place to go and advertise my items. I really have no reason to do so now, with my first day and 6 items, but would like to find good ways to get my shoes out there.

You can add a signature to your posts that give a link to your shop or to your about me page or even myworld page. Another option would be to create guides similar to mine.

Some things I do are to add the address for my store to any emails I send out. I also have it on facebook.
Check it out.

I havent been doing this very long, but I have been putting my listing link at the bottom of craigslist listings and using the cross sell application (free) you can get on ebay.  I am sure there is a lot more- but it has helped me the last two months.

Ask your bidders to sign up for your newsletter or add you to their fav sellers list. Keep a computer file or index cards on who buys what from you, with their contact info. Send emails or snailmail postcards to them at least once a year to remind them they bought from you before and why they should again.
