Hi again, Carol.  I don't collect the ornaments and got very confused last year with Tinkerbell and Princess Tiana ( I think that was it ).   Can you explain the Ornament Weekend, please.   Do you buy them at your local Hallmark store, buy them at the K.C. plant, or ??????.    Also, do you have to pre-order from your store or reserve them in advance or ????????.   These new ones are the PM-Disney artwork, I presume.  Thanks for clearing this up for me.   I'm thinkin' I must be the only one here that doesn't collect them !!

Hey Annie

I am sure you will get a response but I can stick in my 2 cents----it is the first "premiere" of the Keepsake ornaments for sale for this year

They have a special weekend and there used to be some games and prizes (depending upon the store) and you get extra Hallmark points for buying certain ornaments or a number of ornaments with your Hallmark Gold Crown card

It is done at the Hallmark stores---kinda like the old Precious Moments store events.  They usually have the premiere in July and then have another couple events in October and November (again at the Hallmark stores)

The problem here is (again) finding a Hallmark store They used to carry the Precious Moments figurines and other collectibles and be in most of the malls but like everything else, most have gone out of business---very hard to find one anymore and even harder to find a store that carries Precious Moments---hard to believe,  California used to have so many!!!!

There should be a catalog of all the ornaments for you to view in the stores as well, usually up around the registers.  I am sure you can view them online as well

Hope it helps----hope you and Alan are doing ok with all the clean up

Ooops  almost forgot----some stores will reserve and hold them and some won't  They are usually a limited supply and most won't hold them---first come first serve   They are the PM/Disney artwork and you are not alone cuz I don't collect them either  LOL

Howdy, Karen !!  Sure am glad you get time to check in every so often.  Thanks for all the info; it's another item checked off my Bucket List !!  I don't think I'll start collecting them now but it's nice to know what it's all about.   :)

We had some left of the Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty where i work.

I work at a pharmacy that also has a Hallmark....

We were a little busy in the am with our regulars but not in the afternoon.People are not buying knick knacks much at all anymore.

Gas and bills take most of the $....:(

Princess Tiana didn't sell well at all last year and ended up on our 75% off shelf!

These 2 ornaments are Disney/PM artwork.  They are part of the 2011 Hallmark Ornaments.  They should be available at any Hallmark Store even if they do not carry the PM line.  If anybody wants them, I can get them and yes we will go through Ebay as a "buy it know" auction.
