There is the possibility that it is what they call a "White Face" which is a figurine that has not been fired. The eyes could have been painted on by Sam at the signing. It could have been a special raffle piece from a signing event.  I think that Sam did have a helper, whose name was Winston.  I think in order for any of us to evaluate the signatures, we need to see pictures.  Probably some of the signatures were already signed when it left the factory because I find it hard to beleive that all those people were at the event.
