First We Start A Buyer Black List!!

We could Create a Black List Web Page where we could list buyers who deserve negative feedback. We could promote this web page by using some clever youtube videos. We would have to make this a searchable page. Also there may be some legal concerns. We really need input from as many people as possible on this.. There is already a site called ripoff report.com. We may be able to convince them to work with us. I have used ripoffreport.com several times against large companies such as Xerox with good results. I will attempt to contact them and approach them with our plan. We need a major membership to convince them. Lets get the ball rolling!!

Ebay keeps shutting these sites down. No matter how disgruntled you are with the present situation, you cannot be alowed to slander other sellers and buyers without restriction. -- Edited by chessspy at 07/10/2008 12:41 AM PDT

Chessspy, eBay cannot shut down those sites because those sites are not eBay sites. It could work, it would be the 'power of the press'. Darlene

Slander is not slander if it is truth!! I am not asking for lies and insults. I am asking that we are factual. We post exactly how the transaction went with the buyer. Our big challenge would be to educate Ebay users so that they would check our list before any transaction.

If you will forgive me Innovision, that is really a rather naive statement to make. Lawyers have been making big money for many years on the difference between what differing parties think is the 'truth'. The point here is, (I think) that ebay cannot and must not, (at law) allow even the possibility of slander or libel otherwise it is in real danger of being sued, as an accessory after the fact, simply because unlike you and me it is worth suing a big company. Tiddlers like us can safely be ignored as a $100 solicitors letter would make us pull in our horns pretty quickly, as being taken to court would cost us all we have, (win or loose)

There is already a website for BBL. I will look and see if it is still up and running.

The seller blacklist list is still out there, eBay hasn't removed that but they won't let us have a buyer blacklist. eBay has done a wonderful job of creating two groups buyers vs. sellers. We will war against each other and eBay can pick up the pieces. Lady Catbert

I totally agree with starting a buyer blacklist! I just received my 1st negative feedback from someone who damaged an item I sold and then demanded I take it back and refund her money. I've been disputing this transaction with ebay and they have done nothing to help me! I've been selling and buying on ebay for many, many years and now my 100% positive rating is tarnished by some psycho!

I AGREE COMPLETELY!!! I have been selling since 2005. Now this new policy is in effect and I can't selling till who knows when. I am not getting answers. This is b/cause some crazy Buyer gave me a negative feedback after she harassed me via Email for a week. The Buyers that spend $100 or more are happy w/ their items. The problem I seem to have is the people that spend .99-$25.00. These are the ones that cause more trouble than anyone else. I would love a buyer black list, for these insane people who blow things way out of proportion.

I have a buyer (comics 4 "the holiday we are not allowed to say anymore") who claimed the books I sold him were not the condition I stated they were in when I know for a fact they were. When I told him to ship them back to me he filed a claim and I still haven't recieved it back after refunding his money. eBay allows thieves to steal from sellers!

I just joined the group, but I too am concerned about the feedback issue,as well as ebay seeming to abandon sellers in favor of buyers. So far my selling experiences have been positive, but I shudder to think of what one negative feedback would do to my small score! Have we all complained to ebay about this new policy? If we haven't we should. Didn't that change things a few years back when everyone complained about high fees? What I have personally done is watch on the boards for people talking about psyhcos and then from their feedback I get the persons screenname and block them from bidding on my stuff.I can't block them all, but it makes me feel proactive!

Tell me about it. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO SELLER PROTECTION!?!? Buyers can buy anything they want over and over again and never pay and Ebay only refunds the Final Value Fee to the seller, you lose the listing fee completely. Think about how many people sell on ebay and how many never pay everyday, now they're making millions!! Why change anything when they can rob us!! I get so angry just thinking about it!!

I'm totally with you all on this. I have been a sellers for 8 years. Up until about two months ago or so I had maybe 2 non paying bidders in all those years. I have had ten non paying bidders in the two to three months. As sellers we are totally vulnerable. Ebay has ruined everything. I'm a gal who sells clothing on ebay to make a few extra dollars outside my day job. This whole feedback situation and non paying bidders has gotten totally out of hand. What the heck was EBAY thinking and is there something we can do? Count me in.

Here is one for your list - she cancels bids, I refunded her money on an item she was unhappy with and she still has not sent the item back (2 months) and she leaves personal (-) "nasty" feedback. She is a real nut case. She left 11 negative feedbacks for me with in 24 hours - yikes, and even called my home at 2:30am to tell me she was going to do it. Add to your list *Baybaby*. EBay just doesn't care!! I pulled all my listings and I am not selling anymore -what a shame one person can ruin everything. Selling on EBay is not fun anymore.

I had the exact same idea and now I see it here. I think it is an absolutely wonderful idea. My thinking was that somehow we could keep an ongoing list of people to block as bidders. We could copy and paste the list onto our ebay "block a bidder list" and just keep updating it. Then we can let the buyers know that if they threaten us or leave neg. feedback for a ridiculous reason, they will be on the blacklist and unable to bid on many of ebay's items.

Here is one you can add to your list."bigboi2u" She is also a seller. she tried to make alot of trouble for me . Even having my account suspended, after alot of teeth pulling w/ Ebay, I got my account re enstated the same day. This seller/buyer ,even e-mailed me & harrassed me, to tell me she got my account suspended. I complained to Ebay about her harrassing e-mails. They did not want to do anything about it. Her seller name is "bigboi2u"

Here is another, she was complaining about shipping etc. Even before she paid. I had to file a non pay to get her to pay. She left neutral feedback on three items. I offer combined shipping. She kept insisting that three little items shouldnt cost that much to ship...it was a denim skirt size 12, a large western denim vest, and a t-shirt...she complained about its size, dimentions are given in the ad. I sent them priority, and she complained that the package was bulging. She is a real hag. her name is cheri620_30. Beware she is a Bear. And I am being nice.

Thank you for the info. I listed one thing this week and EBay charged me.05 they must be hard up for business. I need 5 more feedbacks to get a purple star (why I care I don't know) but I just want it for the record so I may list a couple things if I can list them that cheap, but I will add the two trouble makers above to my X list. Have a good week-end. J

I have had a lot of trouble lately with non paying "buyers". When I tried to leave negative feedback so other sellers wouldn't get taken advantage of, I learned I can't leave negative feedback for buyers. How is this fair? Buyers certainly can leave it for the sellers. Can we do anything about it besides the BBL? If ebay won't take care of the sellers, we may have to take care of ourselves.

add this buyer to your list ttdbcnhe is from spain, he buys , then says it does not arrive, then gos back a bids again from that seller...(what was the seller thinking?) I sent two shirts in the package it weighed 19oz. He says I only sent one and wants the other. After I explained to him , he filed with paypal. I went through his feedback...over 300 of them..and he frequently buying a large quanity from a buyer..and then doesn't pay..and complains.. He is a real work of art. I don't know why this guy shops ebay, it seems he frequently does'nt get things..or is unhappy with the shipping time. After he filed with paypal he wanted me to give him feedback...talk about an ego
